I got my confirmation email from PADI a couple of days ago, and I´m still waiting for the card to come in the mail. The last weeks of my internship went by really fast and was all about passing the final tests, as well as getting guiding experience. It’s a really nice feeling when you start to see the progress you have made, and that all you’re hard work has paid of. I guess some of you might have seen the pictures from my Snorkel Test, that turned out to be more of a challenge than I expected it to be. But luckily I passed without too much difficulties, and I could finally call myself a PADI Divemaster
This blog post should have been written and posted three weeks ago, but I guess it´s true as they say; “Better late than never”. So here it goes. I have been back in the “real” world for three weeks now, and still can´t believe I´m a Divemaster.
I have to send a big thank you to all the people at Two Fish for having patience with me, and for sharing all their knowledge with me. I had a great time with you guys, and miss you all. I also have to send a big thank you to go to my girlfriend, Siri, that came with me to Nusa Lembongan. She showed great patience and understanding for my long and busy days, and supported me through it all. Some days you will stumble during your Divemaster internship, and it’s really great to have someone to talk to. This is my last blog post, but hopefully I will go back to the island one day and dive with all the great people at Two Fish once again. In the meantime, keep making bubbles, and maybe we will see each other in a future adventure.
