We have had lovely clear, warm water again when diving in North Lombok lately. The Gili’s are famous for the scenery, night life, and surfing. Diving over the past few years has become extremely popular. We may lack the colour from soft coral but the north does attract such an adverse amount of sea life such as one of my favourite’s…bat fish!!

Bat fish tend to stay in groups, you can come across one but for sure others are hanging out close by.

They are curious fish and like to play in our bubbles which are lovely as we get to have a close-up look at these beauties.

Among the bat fish it is common to come across peacock mantis shrimp, crabs, turtles, white tip reef sharks, scorpion fish, lion fish, nudibranchs, unicorn fish and so much more around the North Gilis.

We are also extremely excited about our opening on Gili Air which will be official this Saturday.

We have had the building start early this month and now we make the move!!!

All set for the high season.
