Hello from Nusa Lembongan! It’s starting to get busier here as people arrive for their summer holidays with the stunning reefs and big fish we have in our rich waters here.
Weather is great, sometimes cloudy, lovely and warm but not too hot and humid – to be honest it’s probably our favorite time of the year 🙂 One morning this week we went to Manta point and after enjoying the usual fun with the big flappy guys and girls we found a big octopus at the end of the dive.
Often Octopus hide away when divers come, using their amazing body control to slip into tiny cracks in the reef. Not this one though – he was sitting on coral and observed how more and more divers getting around to take pictures of him. The amazing creature, changing colors of the body, so divers have lots of different pictures of him. We’re not sure who had more fun – our divers watching the octopus display or the octopus watching the strange bubbly creatures in front of him!
As well as showing our fun divers the sights we’ve been teaching a whole range of courses from entry level to professional. We’ve taught open water and advanced courses and this week also new Divemaster candidate Conor joined Two Fish and started his 4 weeks training in Lembongan. Meanwhile, Divemaster trainee April has finished her first week with us, then after another week here, she’ll move to Two Fish Bunaken for the next part of her course. It’s a great reason to do your DM with Two Fish – where else can you enjoy different parts of Indonesia in a single course!?!
Wish everyone sunny days and lots of fishes ))
