Being a Divemaster-in-training has been more challenging than I anticipated, but I’m also learning a lot more about different types of diving, dive operations, and teaching divers than I thought I would.
Groups of divers return from the two morning dives with great smiles and stories about exciting animal sightings (ranging from cute little nudibranchs to napoleons and sharks).
Since I have been at Two Fish (about two weeks), I’ve helped introduce 5 people (4 new Open Water Divers and one Discover Scuba Diving student) to the underwater world I love.
Helping others feel the same excitement and passion I feel for the ocean, whether they be seasoned or first-time divers, is something I am happy to have become a part of these past couple of weeks. It’s been a fun start to my summer Two Fish Bunaken, where the food is good, the diving is great, and the people are amazing!
