Esther’s Divemaster in Bali Update…
Hi – it’s Esther here – I am taking my Divemaster in Bali – at Two Fish Divers Amed and it’s two months already!! I have to say, diving here can only be described as fantastic – I am loving taking my Divemaster in Bali!. Everyone can explore shipwrecks, admire the magnificent coral walls, and discover surprises in the black sand. Among these kinds of diving, muck diving is the most fascinating to me. One of the reasons is that I never know what surprises are waiting for me. This feeling makes me keep looking forward to every dive and can’t stop. I love being able to take underwater photographs and there are so many amazing critters to capture on camera here in Bali.
My first muck diving was just a few months ago. In the beginning, I was addicted to all kinds of nudibranchs, sea slugs. Then frogfish, then any kind of small fish.

I have been obsessed with shooting little Goby fish for a while. Goby fish are visible everywhere, they are not unusual, but every time I zoom in to see the details of them with light, I can only say they are so beautiful and sparkling! At first, I couldn’t always find the right angle to shoot, because they are very skittish and move fast. Now after I have some experience, it is getting better.
I will also miss my life as a Divemaster in Bali and life in Amed. It’s a quiet place, but it is not too quiet. The life here is so comfortable and relaxed. If you have been living in a city for a long time and want to find a different life, you should try Amed – it’s such a great vibe.
