This last week started with the transfer back from Lembeh to Bunaken. I was sad to leave Lembeh behind, but knew I’d also enjoy the diving in Bunaken again and I hoped my ears would heal fast.
The first day in Bunaken I was assigned as the divemaster-on-board for the safety and comfort of a large group of divers from UK and a Tec-dive-course with Sandy, who did a deco-dive. It turned out to be quite some fun. But going back to diving the next day was so much better…
I was the back-up for a fundive of a certified Open water diver and we spotted some nice marine life in the shallows like turtles, clown triggerfish, clownfish, nudibranchs, shrimps, lobster and porcelain crabs. It was great. And then I could conduct a skill session for a scuba review and also assist Hiro in an Open Water Course for the next days. I was glad that both of the students were really doing good in all the sessions and were comfortable with the skills in the pool and also in the ocean.
I’m looking forward to the coming tasks next week…
