After spending three wonderful, still very, very busy weeks in Nusa Lembongan, I finally transfered over here to the beautiful island of Bunaken.
Again, also here friendliness welcomed me.
First homework in a new place is always to learn the names and faces of the people – all the crew, the captains, the staff in the reception, behind the bar… but since we are having so much fun together, that´s an easy task.
It´s always exciting for me to get to the water first time in a new dive spot, and my expectations were even exceeded. I hopped into the water and at first site we could find variours Nudibranches and many many macro-animals…so I felt immediately that its going to be a great time here!
Together with Dion I did go through the 24 OWD-skills already two times this week in the pool, and I could assist Mesak in some advanced open water courses, which was very interesting and besides a lot of fun. Starting now my 5th week of the DMT I really can tell how I am improving, everything is turning kind of to routine.
The resort is really busy, so lucky me, I get into the water a lot – either assisting in courses or just fun diving. On the boat I do a lot of boat briefings and many of the dive site briefings, which I was very excited about in the beginning, however, Dion and Mesak always give me a debriefing afterwards and that helps a lot to do better and better every time.
So, already I am very excited what the next days/weeks will bring – I´ll let you know!
