After two trips to Sanur to the highly recommended female ear doctor I finally recovered from my infection. So back in the water at last. Lucky me was able to assist in an Advanced Open Water course. It was much better to assist in a real course than in a course with fake students. Also I was very lucky that we had a Discover Scuba Diving student and it was very interesting to see him take in all the new impressions and help him explore the underwater world.

Then came Nyepi… A very interesting holiday here in Bali. Everybody stays home and the power is shut off. So all non local staff from Two Fish moved in to the resort and we had a great time boat diving in the pool. Which my ears didn’t like very much. The next day I felt that well known pain in my ear again. So here I am again out of the water hoping that this ear infection will be gone soon and once and for all. Since I had time for more non-diving activities I took all my tests and passed them with flying colors. I also wrote my emergency action plan, one more task out of the way.
