September is one of the best months for diving in Bali, the weather is superb, the diving is amazing and our guests are all lovely! I had the pleasure of diving with so many beautiful people from all over the world.
Our month started with a dive trip with Michael. The water was quite cold that day, it dropped below 20C! The colder the water, the better the diving in Bali actually is, because we often spot Molas in very cold water. After the dives Michael and I enjoyed the sun until we were sun-kissed and a little red. We should have used some reef safe sunscreen…!
When you say “Liberty” we automatically think about the awesome wreck in Tulamben – this is a major highlight of diving in Bali. With Yosep we dived the wreck and the nearby dive site, the Drop Off. The visibility was so great so we had a few great dives and our videos and photos came out nicely. Yosep had just finished his open water course with us at Two Fish Bunaken Resort in North Sulawesi and is now hooked on diving! We hope to see him again soon!
Mark and Alice dived in Nusa Penida with us and Mark thought his SPG seemed to be broken because his air consumption was so good! We had a quick meeting with a manta ray and we found a whole bunch of different nudibranch – Diving in Bali is not just about big fish, there are some awesome critters too. Mark had just bought a new camera, the Olympus TG6, and he was able to put it to the test with our stunning marine life!
The following day Mark joined me again to Nusa Penida to continue the Mola search and Alice went to Padang Bai with Steve where they said hello to the four cute baby sharks that live there.
A day of diving is always a good day, but a day of diving in Bali with nice buddies is absolutely the best! When you only need half a signal to make a joke, or your mask starts to flood from all the giggling, then you know you’ve got a buddy. Come join us on a trip to meet some new buddies of your own! We’d love to meet you and show you the beautiful underwater world which is revealed when you are diving in Bali! Don’t just take our word for it – come and see for yourself!
