Dive Zone/Two Fish Divers have Diving Instructor Job opening for a multilingual instructor in South Lombok, a person with organizational talent, leadership qualities and good communication skills. Ideally you are between 30 and 35, have experience in Asia, at best Indonesia, and apart from this are someone with flexibility and are able to handle the challenges of operating a more remote dive shop location, as well as can work independently and show good judgment in daily operational decisions.
Dive Zone LombokWe operate at 2 locations around the Southern Gili islands (Sekotong), one being the island resort Pearl Beach (PADI 5* IDC Resort) and a mainland dive shop Desert Point Lodge. At both locations the main focus of the position is guiding fun divers with varying levels of experience and selling/teaching DSDs and courses.
You will be based at the Desert Point Lodge and depending on your qualification and necessity also be leading daytrips to our third location Belongas Bay. As the diving in this region involves diving at pinnacles, with at times quite challenging conditions such as rough surface conditions, big swell, surge and current, we define sufficiently experienced for Belongas Bay as having at least 750 dives.
Our locations are somewhat remote and offer limited leisure activities and often times even limited privacy; please consider to what extent this may be a problem for you.
You also must be computer literate. We do alot of digital marketing with Facebook, Blog and Newsletter and you need to be able to support these activities by helping to keep our Facebook up-to-date with regular posts, producing material for our blog posts, etc.
Our main criteria include:
– be a good salesman for con-ed courses to existing guests walk-ins
– PADI MSDT or higher
– European with professional background, aged 30-35
– Fluent in English (other languages are an advantage)
– Easy going and flexible, with lots of initiative and energy
