Do you want to know about do your Divemaster Internship with Two Fish Divers?

Well, it’s an exciting experience and a bunch of new friendships in the diving business! We started as two Rescue Divers and got in touch with the Two Fish Diver team on Gili Air, Megan and Sal, through Fun dives and immediately felt welcome. Therefore we decided to spend our 6-week Divemaster Internship with Eco-Specialities for three weeks on Gili Air and another three weeks in Amed. We were warmly welcomed and were able to get deep insights into the daily diving business and the different teams involved. It is hard work. Carrying tanks, preparing equipment and reading theory in the evening after three dives are not easy and the program is tight.

We are now almost at the end of our Divemaster internship and we can advise you to bring some artistic talent for the drive mapping (no requirement, but if you want the divemap to look nice, get some colored pencils 😉 ). For the Emergency Assistance Plan, we got the help of a flowchart app and a printer (thanks to technology!), but the skill circuits, the work in the courses and the support of DSDs is still manual work. But believe us: the experience is worth it.

And if you have been able to check the first tasks from your to-do list, you feel as if you have moved mountains. We didn’t just make acquaintances but found friends in the whole team from Diveguide to Captain to Manager. So come on, what’s stopping you?
