A huge school of dolphins were spotted in Bunaken this week riding the bow wave of our dive boat Sylvia. As the boat was heading out for the morning dive, with 10 divers on board, a school of dolphins were spotted by an eagle eyed guest. We slowed the boat down and spent 10 minutes cruising in circles while the dolphins sped through the waters around us, giving us a wonderful display. As we headed off, a pair began to ride the bow waves, and continued with us for another few minutes. What a brilliant way to start the day!
We’ve also had a busy week with courses – we were joined by a group from the US, with Melissa doing her rescue and nitrox course, her friends Aaron and X doing their open water course and Diana doing her underwater naturalist specialty. We were also joined by Julie, an experienced diver from Brisbane – we’ve had a fun few days diving with her, and look forward to meeting the rest of her dive club when they arrive later in the week!
