What a week it’s been over here on Nusa Lembongan!!! We have had heaps of manta sightings and even a Mola Ramsayi, as well as all the other exciting colourful exotic marine life found in these rich waters. Mixed in with all this, we have had lots of cool people fun diving and completing courses with us too. Well done to all of you for completing courses from scuba diver to rescue diver!!!
Manta point was rocking it this week, with over 25 individual mantas seen. There were even three different expecting mothers, all being followed around by I guess the expecting fathers! When there weren’t any mantas we had a large amount of nice nudis to look at and octopus crawling along the reef, plus what seemed like a billion blue-spotted stingray carpeting the sandy areas of the site! Its also been a week of learning for some of the senior crew over here too, we all attended an evening of oxygen training which along with being very interesting, was also very morbid! But now we all have a little more information to make diving even safer, and fun too!
So its equipment servicing time for us here again. We are very proud of maintaining all of our equipment to the highest standard in Two Fish! No expense is being spared with Rowan ordering heaps of new O-rings, washers, pressure seats, lubricants, very expensive unique tools and any other interesting piece that will keep our equipment breathing as good as new! Along with regs we are also carrying out our yearly visual inspection of all of our tanks here. This is the normally unseen side of diving, but essential to us in order to give everyone the best experience possible when diving in the waters around Nusa Lembongan. Its been very nice having some of our customers showing a keen interest in the maintenance too, so if your coming to dive with us soon feel free to ask us anything you like, about this and one of us will be more than happy to flood you with all the information we know.
