Feathers stars are everywhere here in south Lombok and wouldn’t believe how many, it’s always nice to see them when they are actively swimming around or just fluttering in the breeze. It is also nice to see what treasures they hide amongst themselves like shrimps, crabs, juvenile fish and of course the ornate ghost pipefish.
This week in south Lombok we want to say a big congratulation to Simon and Ralf from Germany for completing the advanced open water course we wish them a safe journey home and we hope to see them again soon. We also say good bye to Anna and Karina who have done a discover scuba dive and are already planning to come back next month to do the open water course we, look forward to seeing you again.
This week in south Lombok the weather has been fantastic, sunny everyday with not a cloud in sight and the water is a nice 28 degrees’ Celsius so no need for wet suits this week. We have had lots of cool sightings this week including Black tip reef sharks, hawks bill turtles, sea horses, ambon scorpion fish, skeleton shrimp, nudibranchs and many many more.
Over all it has been a great week here meeting lots of new people and sharing some awesome under water experiences and we are all looking forward to the next one.
