This week in Lembeh… Ghost Pipefish get Pink. A lesser known and seen ghost pipefish has been spotted early this week. The rarer Velvet Ghost Pipefish was seen buy our lucky guests, posing for photos. It can come in a white, pink, or red color variation which along side their body shape, help it to blend in with the coral.
DMT Jacqueline has been enjoying finishing up her Dive Master course as well assisting in Stephens Open water and Advanced course. Stephen has had his first breaths underwater and comes up every dive with a massive smile on his face. Everything is new and exciting and he is taking off like the water was his second home.
Leonardo and Maria were very happy with their photos, most of all the pygmy seahorses and nudies they had seen throughout their stay. Matt has joined us and is very enthusiastic at seeing a mimic octopus on one of his first dives. Other fun things we have been seeing are: Dragon shrimp, Bobbit worm, Hairy Frogfish, Green shrimp, Boxer crab, Robust and Ornate Ghostpipefish, Zebra Batfish, Skeleton Shrimp, Stargazers, and Wonderpus!
On my wish list for next week Gerry!!
And mine for October lol
So excited to see that little beauty one day!
