My twelve-day stay in Lembeh, the final station of my Divemaster internship, is unfortunately coming to an end soon. I took here the specialty course on “Underwater Navigation” with instructor Tina. I found this course extremely useful, and I believe that I have substantially further developed my navigation skills. I enjoyed assisting Tina (and learnt a lot) while she was teaching an Open Water Diver course and an Enriched Air specialty course. I also continued improving my skills on underwater supervision of divers. The house reef cleanup I organized was a success both in terms of the level of participation of guest divers and resort staff, as well as with respect to the amount of collected trash. I should not forget to mention that diving in Lembeh is magical! I had the opportunity to observe a large variety of marine creatures, many of which I knew only from pictures!
Last but it least I am very happy to report that while in Lembeh I also successfully completed all the remaining exercises and requirements for my Divemaster certification! It was a great experience to be able to do this training in three different Two-Fish Divers locations (South Gillis/Lombok, Bunaken and Lembeh). I would like to thank all instructors for their excellent teaching and for sharing their experiences with me. I also should thank the Two-Fish Divers staff from this three locations for their warm welcome and all their support during my internship.
