My second week in Bunaken has also been very productive and rewarding! I took three specialty courses: Fish-Identification (with instructor Dion), Search and Recovery (with instructor Dom) and Underwater Naturalist (with instructor Tina). The courses not only expanded my theoretical knowledge about these subjects but also included very instructive practical exercises in open water dives. My boat and dive site briefings continue getting better. I also kept working on improving my underwater supervision skills (guiding of divers) under the excellent supervision of instructor Dom. I also learnt a lot while assisting instructor Dion when he was teaching an Open Water Diver course. I am fortunate that all the diving had as a backdrop the beautiful reefs of Bunaken, which are incredibly rich in marine life. To make it even better, the weather conditions and the underwater visibility have been outstanding throughout my stay here. I will be now moving to Lembeh, which is the last station of my Divemaster course. I would like to thank Dion, Dom and Tina for all the knowledge and experience they have shared with me during these two amazing weeks in Bunaken!
