THIS WEEK IN LEMBONGAN…. Guitar Shark, Black Tip Reef Shark, Bamboo Sharks and Melanistic Mantas. All of these beautiful creatures have been spotted at Manta Point this week. Thanks to Karoline for this great photo of the Guitar Shark relaxing on the sand.

Stephanie our Sidemount instructor has been in and out of the pool and ocean with our staff to trying out our brand new Dive Rite sidemount equipment. Sidemount will be starting very soon in Lembongan. Stephanie will be teaching sidemount courses and for the ones that are already sidemount certified, you will be able to explore the reefs of Lembongan in the comfort of sidemount. Even if you want to just give it a go, Stephanie will be more than happy to jump and the pool with you and introduce you to the joys of sidemount.

Another week of calm conditions, little waves and gentle currents. With our recently refurbished speed boat, Blue Water Express, we are able to fly around to the Manta spots fast to make sure we are one of the first dive boats there. Being first to the dive spots increases your chance to see the Mantas because there are fewer divers.

We have also seen green turtles, Mantis Shrimp, Squat Shrimp, Giant Trevally, Bluefin Trevally, Peacock Flounder, Box Fish, Cornet Fish, Trumpet Fish, Star Puffer and Giant Moray.
