This week in Lembeh….. Harlequin Shrimp Shine. For those that enjoy shrimp, Lembeh is a fantastic place to see more than just a few species. Our lucky divers can agree with these Harlequin Shrimp as part of the proof. Our guides found these two ready to chow down on top of a blue sea star. Other types being seen have been Tiger shrimp, Hairy Shrimp, Mantis Shrimp, Skeleton Shrimp, and the list goes on.
Rumaan was here completing his Scuba Diver certification and was very lucky to see a pair of Ambon Scorpion Fish and a Flamboyant cuttlefish on one of his very first few dives. He wanted to get into the water every chance he could. Tarja is thrilled to be back in Lembeh and is having a great time with the dawn and night dives. As well Dymphna has been able to cross off the dragon shrimp from her list.
Other things we have been seeing are: Blue ringed octopus, Wunderpus, Bobbit worms, Bob tailed squid, Robust and ornate ghostpipefish, Mandarin fish, Bangai cardinal fish, Nudibranch’s galore, Hairy frogfish and much more.
