As the days are getting hotter and hotter here on Gili Air, what better way is there than spending your time on Gili Air underwater? We have almost perfect conditions at the moment – nice and calm sea, great visibility of 20-30m, very mild currents and water temperature of 28-29oC degrees.
The last few days we were very busy especially with fun divers that were amazed by the “crazy” amount of turtles we see on almost every dive. They also saw schools of bumphead parrotfish, loads of cuttlefish, and very active octopuses, especially around our dive site Bounty.
Our instructors Kus and Frauke “Kay” were also kept busy with plenty of PADI discover scuba diving courses, and some of these had more time than just a day of diving and so they signed up for PADI open water and PADI advanced open water diver courses.
