We have had the pleasure of introducing an adventurous family to SCUBA diving here on Bunaken. The O’Donnells are living in Singapore though originate from Ireland and France. This family of SCUBA-troopers consists of Eric, who is a certified PADI open water diver and after successfully completing his refresher course with us, has gone on to dive with one of our dive guides, Rian. Veronique has completed the PADI Discover Scuba Diving program together with her eleven year old daughter Adelaide. The youngest SCUBA diver, Albane, was also able to give SCUBA a try with our “PADI Bubblemaker” program allowing the whole family to have two fantastic days on the boat together. They saw loads of our resident Green turtles and even a white tip reef shark! This week we also welcomed our new Divemaster trainee Tom who has been busy studying, doing swim tests and practicing his diving skills.
