Are you a muck diving fanatic? A macro photographer who wants to see more of Indonesia? Maybe you just want to visit two diverse regions? If you answered “Yes” to any of the above then this month’s special Muck Diving Offer is definitely for you!
Lembeh and Amed are two of Indonesia’s finest muck diving locations. You’ll find an array of rare and bizarre looking critters, many of which are endemic to their respective areas. In both areas odd shaped bottom dwellers, crustaceans, cephalopods and alien-looking marine life rule the day! This is a muck diver’s and underwater photographer’s dream come true. You’ll also be able to experience two of the unique cultures which Indonesia has to offer.
Lush, green, Lembeh is a rural island, forming one of the banks of the world famous Lembeh Strait. It’s home to the smallest primate in the world – the tarsier monkey and host of exotic flora and fauna.
Amed is on the east coast of Bali, an island famous for it’s rich culture and friendly people. Amed was traditionally a small fishing village which is now a muck diving hotspot. Amed has retained it’s traditional Balinese charm and is a quiet and peaceful getaway.
Both of these amazing destinations also offer reef diving within easy reach for those who would like some diversity or would like to try out their wide angle skills
