Nusa Lembongan Divemaster Trainee Update…
This week has been an awesome week at Two Fish Divers Nusa Lembongan! Malina, Luisa and John, our current Lembongan divemaster trainee team were all about to finish their training on the same date, and there was plenty to do. Search and recovery scenario, rescue scenario, skill circuits, emergency action plans, and of couse guiding, snorkeling supervision and so on…
What a busy time to be a Nusa Lembongan Divemaster trainee!…and for us too.. but it was fun and those three divemasters did an excellent job, were part of the team and helped where ever help was needed.
At the end, they all finished with flying colors. Their final test, the snorkel test was really fun as well, and in front of a friendly crowd of supporters!
To Malina and Luisa, we will miss you, it was awesome to teach you, you are amazing. And to our Lembongan Divemaster trainee John, see you in two weeks when you continue your training and do your PADI IDC (Instructor Development Course) with us. You will be an excellent PADI Instructor.

White Tip Reef Sharks
The dive sites around our beautiful 3 little Islands of Nusa Lembongan, Ceningan and Penida are normally not well known for reef shark sightings. People from all over the world arrive during the high season to see Mola’s and Mantas. Fortunately this season we were able to find also some other large pelagics from the family of sharks. We found hammerheads and thresher sharks a few times and once even a great white shark got lost in crystal bay…
Last week our guests Anita, Sarina and Roland from Switzerland and Michelle from Holland saw not only the big sharks but also a white tip reef shark and they were absolutely crazy about this encounter. To see even this species of shark shows us that the reefs around Nusa Penida are in a healthy condition and in good balance.
