On August 5th, Lombok, Indonesia experienced a series of high magnitude Earthquake. These types of earthquake, according to seismologist, occur about every 200 years.
Thousands of local residents of the immediate area have felt the blunt of this natural disaster. Countless have been not only left without homes, but also without food, water, and all their personal possessions.
Over 400 casualties and unfortunately that number is increasing as the clean up efforts continue. Our dive center and staff were directly affected by this event and have been left in despair as they do not know where to begin on rebuilding.
Efforts of the community at large are assisting many to regain a footing in the normal routine of life, but many still need the basics.. This relief effort will go directly to their immediate needs. Help us bring aid to those Two Fish Divers/DiveZone employees directly impacted that resided in this region.
No donation is too small and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the staff of Two Fish Divers to give them the basic necessities to keep their families fed, clothed, and safe. This aid will go immediately to provide Food, Water, Tarps, clothes, and building materials to start in the rebuilding of their villages.
The management team of Two Fish Divers, inclusive of Nigel Thomas, Tina Nelson, George More, Salvador Roldan and Megan Daws are helping those that help us day in, day out; the hard work of each individual staff member allows us to provide an unforgettable experience to the underwater world. Their and their families well being is our top priority!
