This week in Lembongan we had another epic dive at Manta Point. The mantas at Manta Point were extremely curious and playful and just kept swimming around us. There were mantas everywhere and we could see them from every possible angle. These creatures are essentially channel feeders and eat an extensive amount of zooplankton. Rather than picking their prey one by one, a manta ray just needs to open its mouth while it swims.
We were very fortunate to observe this from one meter distance while the manta kept swimming towards us and opening his big mouth. Stephanie and Susanne from Germany were super excited about this and have never seen anything similar before. It was absolutely breathtaking. At the same spot we saw a turtle and a nurse shark swimming over the reef and looking for some food.
After successfully accomplishing their PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC), Kathy started her internship with us and is now part of the Two Fish Family on Lembongan and continues working with the instructors here. Sandra finished the Open Water Course with Gabriel and did a Discover Scuba Diving course with Charlotte.
Hope they will be there also in 2 weeks 😉
Save some for us, we be arriving in 5 days at Your place ?❤️?
