This last week we have been lucky with Manta sightings. And the best thing is that not only the guests and Dive Guides enjoyed them during the dives, some of this gentle creatures were swimming nice and relax around our boat, so our Captain and Crew could also enjoy them, and could excitedly shout: “Mantap Mantas (Amazing mantas)!”.
All our guests got great videos of these creatures; lunchtime on the Resort looked like a video contest, but without any competitive feelings, just sharing the happiness, the experiences and the movies and photos that are going to let them remember this moment in the future (and for showing off in the social media 🙂 ). From Willem and Marikja, from Netherlands, a couple of really experienced divers; Jemma, from Melbourne, also very experienced, and that has had her Birthday while here in the resort (heart-shaped cake included!); and Jurgen and Kristel, that had finished their Open Water Course the previous day (the cover photo is a still of one of their videos, thanks, guys! And thanks Dive Guide Baron for this shot!!).
This week we also had Yannick and Yukari diving with us. Two instructors that although they have been working for the last years in Tiputa Pass, considered for lots of divers as one of the best dive sites in the world, they were impressed with the health and variety of corals, sponges, tunicates, fish… And also for the number of nudibranchs, shrimps, and other critters, shoulder to shoulder with the big guys like the Giant Trevallies.
And have been an important week in Two Fish Divers because two of our Divemaster Trainees have finished their course and become Divemaster!! They are going to start their Instructor Development Course in a couple of days, so we are happy that they are going to still hang around, as they are already part of our “family”. Congratulations on that!!
And let’s not forget about James and Jordan, that tried diving for the first time and enjoyed their dive in Crystal Bay, after having gotten comfortable in our Resort’s pool. Hope they keep making bubbles in the future!
