This week in Lembongan…. All the team wishes everyone a merry Christmas and hopes everyone enjoys this time with friends and family, just as these happy clown fish do.Besides the full on Christmas cheer of Santa hats and Christmas trees, the Lembongan family has been in the water helping clean up our 2nd home. With the rain that we had last week, some rubbish from other islands runs into the water and with the currents, it finds it’s way to some of our dive sites. Instructors Steph and Karoline jumped in the water armed with bags and knives on one of their fun dives to help collect some of this rubbish. Some bags and line had been caught on the reef so Steph and Karoline had to work very carefully to remove it. Everyone can do their little bit, if you do see some rubbish while diving, pick it up and put it in your BCD pocket. Even picking up a plastic bag in the water could save a turtle, that may think it is a jelly fish. Each little but helps protect our dive sites so that the creatures below can also spend time with their families over the holiday period.
The Lembongan team also spent a day a Ubud camp, where we had lots of fun with the team building games. You are able to see the photos of the team working together to complete the tasks on the Two Fish Divers Facebook page.
For this week the fun fish that we have been seeing have been like early presents for our guests, of which we have had; manta rays, many frog fish, schooling blue fin trevallies, schooling sergeant majors, batfish, scorpion leaf fish, cowfish, many nesting titan triggerfish, seal face puffers, star puffers and even a mola!
