After last week we can be confident in saying that the Mola Mola season has officially started after a group of divers spotted 6 up close on two dives! Thomas & Barbara and their eight friends from Tommidive in Germany all left with huge smiles after their last day when they had a lovely party with four Mola Mola’s on their first dive at Blue Corner, and then were surrounded by another three of these giants on their second dive on Crystal Bay. They nearly forgot about the marble rays and the bamboo shark which passed by as well!
We were also able to provide an outstanding early morning dive at Blue Corner to Don and Claire, great guests and great underwater photographers, who saw three Mola Molas. Thanks for the amazing pictures Don & Claire!
It was not only the Mola Mola’s that kept us busy as there was also plenty of teaching going on in the past week. Dakota from California finished her Open Water Course with our local instructor Dr. Baron; Eva and Ben from Leeds/UK did a great job in finishing their Open Water Course with Instructor Tom; and we also introduced Dakota’s friend Emily from the US and Paula from Canada with a Discover Scuba Dive to the underwater world.
Our Divemaster Training program is also going well. Hazel from London/UK has just arrived and is quickly getting into her new role as Divemaster trainee; Conor, a Bartender from Toronto/Canada finished his training last week; and Benjamin from Lyon/ France left to continue his Divemaster Course with us in Bunaken.
We hope that you can join us in Nusa Lembongan and dive Blue Corner and Crystal Bay to experience the wonderful Mola Mola of Lembongan!
