This week in Lembongan … it looks like the Mola season is starting early this year many of our guests saw them on several dives. Normally the Mola season starts around July and sometimes even as late as August, but this week we had very lucky guests this year who spotted these beautiful creatures on several dive sites around Nusa Penida.
Yvonne from Munich visited us for a short two-day dive trip and saw the molas on both days, and so did Sarah, an instructor with over 1.000 dives, who visited us especially for the mola. With her dive guide Franklin, they saw the mantas at Manta Point on one day (plus turtles, mantis shrimps and nudibranchs) and then the molas on the next day, not a bad few days diving right?
Our instructor Sandra finished an PADI Open Water Course with the lovely couple Carla and Tony from Australia and guess what? Yes, they also saw a mola on their Open Water Course in ten meters depth. Lucky students, happy mola faces everywhere.
Come and join us for some Mola!
Great photo Nat and Sandra, we have one just like it :-). Hope you managed to see the Mola Nat. Thanks again for a great trip Paul & Jo.
