There are so many things that I have enjoyed about my divemaster training in South Lombok. It has helped me to develop my social skills through meeting and talking to all kinds of people from around the world. It has helped me to learn key leadership skills that I will use in the future for working in diving, but also in any other job I have.
It has also helped me to understand the importance of keeping the sea clean of rubbish and how it effects the aquatic life in so many ways. We would always be picking up rubbish whilst diving.
During my divemaster training in South Lombok, I have come across a lot of problems, which because of my training I have been able to overcome. Such as, I was finding my no mask swim hard to master because I found it uncomfortable opening my eyes underwater. With the help of the instructors I was able to master it to a PADI standard.
I found the equipment exchange easier than I thought. I had heard it was challenging, and thought I would find it very difficult, but due to the very clear explanation and demonstration from my instructors and the trust I placed in my fellow Divemasters, I was able to do it.
I have really enjoyed my divemaster training in South Lombok. The staff have been really welcoming and made me feel at home which has made my diving experience the best. They have helped me a lot with my course, my confidence, and my passion for diving.
