This week in Lembeh we welcomed in the New Year watching a flashy firework display. Likewise the waters have exploded with their own firework display in the form of Nudibranch’s. It’s been a Nudi New Years so far, everything from Pikachu to Malibeh to Warty to Solar, and every color under the sun.

Guests Karo and Daniel have dove Lembeh’s waters numerous times and still managed to see some Nudi’s they have never seen before. Also were super excited to see the Pikachu once again. Return guests Pascal and Corina wanted for their last dive of the trip to see frogfish, and were given 3 Hairy and 2 shaggy, plus a couple of Ambon Scorpionfish just for good measure. We were sad to wave off new Divemaster Pia, but are excited for her with new possibilities ahead.

Everyone really enjoyed the grand firework show that rang in the new year, as hugs were passed around. And really what better way to spend the new year but under the water. We hope everyone had a great Holiday time!
