This week in Lembongan… Tina the Octopuses, Octopi or Octopodes queen brought all of these creatures out from their hiding. Tina and the divers saw 6 in one dive and one out free swimming!

This crazy creatures are also masters of camouflage, so they can be quite hard to find on dives. To find 6 in one dive is very lucky. There maybe 200 on a dive but these creatures of the night hide deep inside the coral reef or even sometimes right out in the open but with their amazing camouflage ability you would swim right past them as if they were just part of the reef. Instructor Karoline, with her keen eyes, was able to find a juvenile octopus on the same dive.

We have also seen some other cool things this week underwater; mola, manta, giant cuttlefish, marble ray, black giant frog fish, painted frog fish, warty frog fish, big school of dog tooth tuna, trumpet fish, puffer fish, white tip reef sharks, bamboo shark, bluefin trevally, razor fish, scorpion leaf fish and barracuda.
