This week a few of our guests were lucky enough to see an ornate ghost pipe fish at Bunaken. For those who don’t know this is a beautiful little creature, closely related to the seahorse. Cecelia, Chi, Winy, Ed and Pat diving with our guides Albert and Kres were the divers who got this rare treat.
We have a long staying group of divers from Sweden in the resort and for some of them this is their first time diving tropical waters so the variety of wildlife and the stunning scenery have been quite a thrill for them. As the weekend approached the resort filled with divers arriving from Lembeh including Curtis and Sharon who were last on Bunaken 22 years ago, welcome back!
There have been lots of courses taking place this week as well; Ben from the USA has been taking his first breaths underwater, Hannah and Tom have been doing their Advanced and Nitrox courses, Winy has been doing her Wreck specialty course and Cecelia was happy to be able to add Nitrox diving to her abilities.
