This week we dived with Sarah in Padang Bai. Padang Bai is Clownfish heaven, which was perfect for Sarah who loves them more than anything! In Bias Tugal we dived for 72 minutes, followed by a dive in Jepun visiting the shipwreck for 52 minutes, and finishing our day in Turtle Neck with a dive of 69 minutes.
Enjoying long dives is one of the benefits of diving with Two Fish Divers, with a maximum of 75 minutes our dives are exceptionally long compared to the standard of 45-60 minutes in Bali.
On Friday, Sarah’s friends Ali and Rebecca started their PADI Open Water course with our instructor Iris. They finished the pool sessions with ease and started their theory using e-learning. E-learning was the perfect solution for their busy holiday schedule in Bali, where they juggle their time between diving, friends and enjoying the Island of Gods. Next week they will do their ocean dives in Tulamben and Padang Bai.
During the weekend we did Scuba Club Discover Scuba Dives in Amed with Eden and Eli. Eden has done our Scuba Club pool sessions already where he learned the skills, learned about fish and how to become neutrally buoyant. In Amed we first jumped in the pool to refresh the skills, after which we walked directly into the water in the Two Fish Divers Amed House Reef.
The muck diving house reef was amazing for both Eli and Eden, who enjoyed making summersaults and bubble baths (purging the regulator), but also to spot tiny creatures living in the black sands. We found an octopus, Nudibranchs, garden eels and spaghetti worms.
The next day we dived in Jemeluk, which is perfect for introduction dives with the large colourful reefs and plenty of reef fish. Eli and Eden took a camera to photograph juvenile Spadefish, Peacock groupers, a big Nudibranch and much more. The boys are excited to start their PADI Junior Open Water course soon to discover more dive sites and to see more fish!
Every day we are excited to introduce new people to the magical under water world. Start your PADI Open Water course now or blow your first bubbles under water with Two Fish Diver. Happy Diving!
