This week in South Lombok our favourite find was this little painted frogfish running around on the sand! It has not been the best week for the visibility but that has not stopped the boys going on a super macro hunt, and Alice from the U.K. joined us for a few dives to help in the hunt!
This little painted frogfish was dark purple, they also have the ability to change almost any colour so it was lucky to catch him in my favourite colour! Lots of other critters were also spotted this week including Ambon scorpion fish, milibede nudibranchs, Harlequin shrimp, Mimic octopus and lots more.
Weatherise this week has been both exciting in the water and out with huge storms and massive rain, epic shows of force from mother nature. A few trees have fallen over and the roads have turned in to rivers, don’t worry though life has gone on with no accidents and every one carrying on despite the weather.
