My husband Juri and I have finally arrived in paradise (Two Fish Bunaken) to do our PADI Divemaster training. We decided to go pro at Two Fish Divers in lovely Indonesia.
PADI Divemaster Training with Two Fish in Bunaken
We landed in Manado and a driver from Two Fish Divers took us with another guest to the harbor, where we met Colin, the dive manager and instructor at Two Fish Divers Bunaken and Bastian, a Divemaster intern. Together we took the boat to the Island Bunaken, which takes about 30 minutes. On the boat ride it started to rain and we got nice ponchos from the boat staff. Arrived on Bunaken we got something to drink and short briefing from Maia our instructor, about the resort and our dive plan. We spoke about the planning of doing our PADI Rescue Diver Training and then the PADI Divemaster Training afterward. After the briefing we got to our bungalow and could relax a little. The first days were difficult for me because of the time change and the different climate zone. In the beginning, I was not feeling so well with clammy and wet skin because of the high temperatures of 30 degrees and high humidity. But the so-very-nice people, the amazing food and the sea improved my mood and I quickly felt better.
The resort is small and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The guys love to sing and play grit)ar in the bar. Acoustic live music almost every day at the Blue Parrot Beach Cafe. From the bar, you have a nice view of the sea and sometimes there is also a pleasant breeze. Now it is the end of the wet season, so the first days were a little bit rainy, but now we have bright blue skies and sunshine. After lunch, there are even more dives: one afternoon dive and sometimes a night dive. Besides that, there are also other options like dawn dives. I’m going to be doing a LOT of diving!!! 🙂
PADI Divemaster Training: 6 Locations to Choose From
We will be staying here 10 more days and then we are going on the other Island which is called Nusa Lembongan where we continue our PADI Divemaster Training. Two Fish offers to do your Divemaster Training on two multiple locations, which is very nice to get see more from Indonesia. Today I will do my first-night dive on Bunaken. I am very excited and happy. The time here is very nice and really relaxed. I will keep you posted with our progress!!
