Its not all about the big walls and stunning corals here in Bunaken. Although our neighbour Lembeh is one of the most famous macro diving locations in the world, we also have plenty to find around here too. Our expert guides are constantly on the look out for rare little creatures hidden in and on the reef.
Our guests Jin and LJ from Singapore was very happy to see the beautifully named “psychedelic batwing slug” (sagominopteron psychadelicum), our dive center manager’s favourite nudibranch! (some find it a little strange to have a favourite slug but we all have our quirks!)
Some return guests, Bart and Marian from the Netherlands were here 4 years ago and returned to travel in Northern Sulawesi to do some more diving with Two Fish Bunaken and Lembeh. LJ and Jin from Singapore were also taking advantage of the great opportunity to split the holiday between some of the best walls and best muck diving in the world. Also returning is a couple of our previous guests Laurence and Alana also enjoying some time in both locations.
Romain and Julien from France joined us to advance their diving abilities by taking the Advanced Open Water diver course and the peak performance buoyancy specialty diver certifications. After all the talk of Lembeh they were also convinced to go and check out our neighbour and see what all the hype is about.
Despite it being the start of the rainy season here we are seeing some beautiful weather and diving conditions with very few divers on the sites so we hope you will come and visit us very soon!
