Big congratulations to Purwati who completed the Lembongan Marine Association (LMA) First Aid course yesterday.
Purtwati is our Assistant Manager in our resort in Lembongan, and she answers many of the reservation emails from guests who want to stay/dive with us in Lembongan.
Lembongan Marine Association has just been set up by many of the Lembongan dive centers, with the aim of improving safety and awareness of diving Lembongan. One of the first projects that LMA put in place was to provide dive resort staff access to First Aid course, and courses are run every week. These courses are FREE with the instructors are donating their time for o charge. The course has the same content as the Emergency First Response course that is taught with the PADI Rescue Course but without the PIC certification, therefore LMA decided to make its own “certificate”!
Now, if she could only wear her own shirts into work …
