This week in Lembeh… Pygmy Seahorses were just wrecked! Though it would be funny to see a drunk pygmy seahorse, they usually are just high on life but scattered throughout one of our shipwrecks. The Mawali wreck, an old Japanese cargo ship from the Second World War, has Bargibanti seahorses all over the place. That’s just one of many highlights that have got our guests asking to go.
Georgia and Phil have joined us from Bunaken, Georgia finishing up her Divemaster course with Luke. As she pushes through the last leg of the course, she has gotten her first real taste of “Muck” diving. Phil has wanted to come for a long time and is just ecstatic to get into the water everyday.
Sadly return guest Fiona is finishing up her stay with us, but is grateful for being able to see a wunderpus before she leaves. It was a challenge set for her guide Gerri to find one for her, but she beat him to it. Aside from that guests have been seeing: Robust ghost pipefish, Blue ringed octopus, Ambon scorpionfish, Bobtail squid, Banded sea snakes, Frogfish, just to name a few.
New year celebrations hangover: OMG ☺️
