This week in tec… We had a visit from a group of Chinese technical divers this week at our Bunaken and Lembeh locations. Haiyan brought her rEvo Rebreather, and herself and Jessica dived in their dry suits like they do in the caves back home; in 10 degrees and 2 m vis. Luckily the conditions were a little better here with the water a balmy 28-29 degrees and 25-30 m vis on most of the dives. Better safe than sorry though, they stayed warm for sure! The girls are both GUE trained, though not too dogmatic which proved useful when someone (no names mentioned, Haiyan…) forgot their cylinder mounts on their bottles back home. A little McGyvering and borrowing the Poseidon Mk6 cam bands saved the day!
