Activities for Children and Families
Are your kids curious about diving? Do you want to introduce them to a healthy and active hobby which develops responsibility, knowledge, teamwork, communication and confidence whilst having fun?
Children aged 8 to 10 years old: We can run PADI Bubblemaker courses here at our base in Sanur. Your little ones will learn some of the basic rules of scuba diving and get to swim and play using scuba gear here in our pool. They’ll have a great morning underwater and we can even combine this with parents or older siblings who are taking a Discover Scuba program (see below).
Children aged 10 years plus (and parents): If you are all new to diving and want to experience scuba then our PADI Discover Scuba Diving program is an awesome one day introduction to diving. You’ll have a short theory briefing followed by an introduction to some basic skills in the pool before heading out to the ocean for your first dive. Your PADI certified instructor will be by your side from start to finish and you’ll be creating family memories which last a life time.
Getting certified as a family
If everyone in your family is over 10 years old and you have 4 days available we highly recommend getting certified to dive together. You’ll learn together about diving and each other!
Imagine a learning experience with your kids where you are all on the same level – and don’t be surprised if your kids outshine you! You’ll see a different side to them which is normally reserved for being in classes at school and they’ll see you as a classmate and equal instead of a parent – it’s an incredible bonding experience and you might well find that they are the ones leading you!
Once you have gained your PADI Open Water Certifications together the world is literally your oyster and you’ll have opened the door to years of joint diving experiences all around the world.

Staying in Sanur
Did you know that Sanur was once just a small fishing village? Sanur has now developed from its small village origins and boasts a range of great restaurants and places to stay for those with backpacker to billionaire budgets. Sanur really does cater for everyone.
Sanur is a totally unique area of South Bali – it has retained its traditional Balinese charm whilst offering everything you would expect from a holiday on the “Island of the Gods”. Sanur Beach is over 5km long and has a beach path which runs its entire length. Enjoy cycling or walking along the sea front, take yoga classes overlooking the ocean, try surfing, kite surfing, stand up paddle boarding or sea kayaking from just a step off the beach.
If you are in Bali to relax and unwind book yourself in to one of Sanur’s numerous spas and literally have your stresses kneaded away. If you’re looking for a more active stay in Bali that’s possible too – white water rafting, mountain biking and even bungee jumping are all options accessible from Sanur!
The highlight of staying in Sanur is that you will really experience Balinese culture. However, unlike the more commercial tourist districts in Bali, Sanur is very much a community based area and you’ll see daily ceremonies, beautiful offerings, watch the local fishermen bringing in their catches, witness stunning sun rises and have everything on hand whilst enjoying the true Balinese vibe.
