This week in Bunaken … Several day trips to Mantehage Island was organised and they both had two things in common, many schooling barracuda and calm sunny weather. Also during each dive solitary barracuda were spotted hunting and one even stayed with the dive group for the entire dive. Could not ask for much more spending a full day on the boat, complete with lunch. Such is the variety of wildlife around Bunaken, from large schooling fish to micro sized shrimp on Lekuan 2.
Congratulations to David who has just completed his underwater photography speciality with Hiro and in doing so has become a Master Scuba Diver. Thanks for sharing with us this amazing picture of a shrimp taken during training. Well done Ben completing your Open Water course and joining the ranks of divers.
Isabelle our divemaster in training is nearing the end of her placement assisting on courses and taking the lead on dive briefings. She only has one test left next week before becoming a dive pro, we all wish her good luck.
Remember everyone keep diving and exploring as you never know what you will see when you next go under the water.
