Skeleton Shrimp ready for halloween in Bunaken

This week on Bunaken … Some of the tiniest creatures known as skeleton shrimp are ready for Halloween here on Bunaken. Our guides are famous for finding the tiniest things underwater and there is no exception for this one. The skeleton shrimp is only millimetres long and completely transparent – they hang around on pieces of soft coral in a sort of praying mantis like way. The picture here is taken by our repeater guest Keith from New Zealand on one of his dives with Rolly. Nice job focusing on such a tiny and clear creature!

Blueringed-tastic in Lembeh

This week on Lembeh … our guests have been having a Blueringed-tastic time in Lembeh, nearly every day we have been having sightings of these rare octopus. As well as these we have also been having a lot of the usual suspects as well, coconut, log arm, starry night, mimic and the lovely wunderpus octopus.

Whale Shark, Molas and Manta in Lembongan

This week in Lembongan … it has been a week of large creatures with our divers seeing Whale Shark, Molas and Mantas. Dive guide Rheyn and his divers had one amazing dive in which they saw 2 molas within the first 10 minutes and a whale shark not long after that.

Sharks at 50m in Bunaken

This week in tec … our most recent tec student Markus finished off his PADI Tec 50 course with two really nice decompression dives that both had sharks at 50 meters! Among the different kind of sharks we had included black tip reef sharks, white tips and even one thresher shark who swam over head. By staying around 25 minutes at 50 meters it’s amazing the creatures that you get to encounter!
