This week, the magical soft coral crabs of Lembeh paid us a visit. The scientific name for this particular Soft Coral Crab is Hoplophrys Oatesi and is also known as the Candy Crab. The Candy Crab grows to about 1.5 to 2cm’s and has the ability to camouflage itself within the soft corals in which it resides. This lovely photo was taken by Kevin and Simone.
We had a busy week here in Lembeh, sending out 2 boats for more than half the morning dives with five of our fabulous guides in action. The guests continued to be impressed by the amazing variety of marine life this little corner of the world has to offer.

Some cool stuff was spotted in, on, and around our black sands, including a very large Peacock Mantis Shrimp, Coconut Octopus, more than a few Lembeh Sea Dragons, Pygmy Seahorse, Star Gazers, Wunderpuss and the Hairy Frog Fish amongst many others.

We had some return guests this week. Darren from Bali and Bee from the UK. It has been a few years since their last visit but neither were disappointed with the show the critters put on! We also had guests visiting from the USA, China and Singapore.
