This week on Gili Air you are not only waking up to sunshine and blue sky but even the diving conditions are getting better and better with every day. Slowly but surely is the season starting here and we are getting busier.
We had a few customers from China, USA, Singapore, Finland, Austria, Ireland, France, Russia and Germany diving with us this week. The visibility is around 25 m at most of the dive sites and we saw plenty of very cool stuff such as Ghost Pipefish, Banded Sea Snake, White Tip Reef Sharks, Blue Spotted Stingray, Peacock-Tail Anemone Shrimp, Octopus, Great Barracuda, Flounder, Peacock Mantis Shrimp, Thornback Cowfish and Clown Triggerfish.
Besides these, the makro-lovers found incredible looking nudibranchs and flatworms and other awesome tiny creatures. And of course, what would be the Gili Islands without our beloved turtles. Personally, I counted on one dive 10 individual turtles, and some of them are huge fellas!
We would also like to congrats our new scuba diver. This week, the underwater world welcomed Jamie & Felicia from the United States and Eva from China who all passed their Scuba Diver Course and did a brilliant job!
A big thank you to all our divers this week! We had a blast with you and hope to see you all again.
