We had another amazing week in Bunaken! Longnose Hawkfish was the fish of the week! Lina who stayed with us for a week was very impressed with the beautiful corals and the huge amount of reef fish and turtles. Her highlight was a pair of longnose hawkfish and a white giant frogfish at Lekuan II. The longnose hawkfish is usually found in black coral or fan corals at 25m or deeper and are very cute and skittish
We also had some sightings of eagle rays and tunas at the divesite Ron’s point, where we see them regularly. Have a look at the short clip below.
Simone, Lina and Kev were interested in sidemount diving and enjoyed a taster session with Markus in the pool. Pete had a go at the twinsets in the pool and seems to be hooked and we might see him for a tech course soon.
Have fun! All the best from Bunaken!
