It has been two fantastic weeks in Amed for my Divemaster course. Although the weather has not been great in the afternoon, the mornings were very sunny but the main thing is; there’s been no time for boredom.
The routine is no routine, every day is different and we work on a wide range of skills.
Enrolling in a PADI divemaster course gives you the opportunity to explore Amed on a different way. There is simply a bit more time to get to know the very friendly local people and spend time not only expanding your knowledge, but also doing what we love the most – diving.
During my first week I tried to get as much of the theory done as possible, even in between dives, so that I could spend the rest of the time relaxing a bit and enjoying some fun dives, but also assisting courses and practicing my dive skills in the pool.
It’s been a busy time, but there are still many things to do like creating an emergency plan and coming up with an idea for a Project Aware conservation project. I also need to practice dive briefings, but there is still plenty of time and so much fun to have!
