Diving around Nusa Penida is everyone’s dream! The corals are healthy, there’s lots of life such as turtles, manta rays and in season the famous sunfish, Mola! At Two Fish Divers Sanur we organise daily dive trips around the island and to the island that’s called Penida, but what can you expect from such a day trip?
All our day trips start by our driver picking you up from the hotel and a short trip to our dive center in the heart of Sanur.
At the dive center, we welcome everyone with a big smile and a cup of Bali coffee, tea or water. Your guide of the day will let you try on the equipment so all your dive gear fits well, and we have to make sure the paperwork is signed.
Then the driver will take everyone to the beach in Sanur where our boats are loaded with tanks and dive gear for the trip. When the boat is getting ready we do the dive briefing for the first dive and inform you about the procedures on the boat. When the boat is loaded we get on, check the equipment one more time, and we get ready for the ride!
The boat ride to Manta Point is about 45 minutes and on the way, you’ll be amazed by the stunning views of the Penida cliffs. When we arrive at Manta Point we get ready and backroll into the water, everyone will be excited to see Manta Rays! After the dive, the boat picks us up and we go to the second dive site of the day, which is often Crystal Bay.
During the surface interval, we enjoy a cup of coffee, tea or water, and fresh fruits and biscuits. After the second dive, we have lunch on the boat. If we do 2 dives we make our way back to Sanur beach after lunch, if we do 3 dives we usually move to the north side of Penida for the last dive.
Back on the beach in Sanur, the driver will be waiting for us again to bring us to the dive center where we fill in our logbooks and scroll through the fish book to check what marine life we’ve seen that day. When the day is finished the driver will bring you back to your hotel.
The marine life and health of the reef around Nusa Penida are incredible, we highly recommend a day trip to Nusa Penida, it’s a beautiful day out!
