This week, our dive guide Andy was proofing his ability to spot the smallest and most amazing creatures you can find here on the Gili Islands like winged pipefish, hairy shrimps, ghost pipefish and some amazing looking nudibranchs. And of course, the usual encounters with black tip reef sharks, white tip reef sharks and some massive green turtles. His fun divers Shawn from England and Raymond from Australia were more than happy about this.
But also our instructors were busy this week.
On Wednesday our new Divemaster Trainee Noemi from Switzerland arrived and were starting straight away with her Emergency First Response & Rescue Course.
Thibaut from France was successfully passing his Open Water Course with Kuss at the beginning of this week and when our boat is coming back this morning, we can welcome Ainne from Ireland as a brand new Open Water Diver as well. She actually cant get enough of scuba diving already and were signing up for her advance course straight away which starts tomorrow.
Furthermore we had some Discover Scuba Divers from Spain and Chile this week, who took their first breaths underwater with our Instructor Frauke “Kay” and loved it.
Although we had some rainy days this week on Gili Air, we had a very successful week under and above water.
A big thank you to everyone who was diving with us this week and we hope to see you again.
