This week in Bunaken
We have had some rain in the evening this week but the visibility is still good. One of the favourite sightings was a large pod of dolphins that were seen from the boat after the rescue diver course. The dolphins were very friendly and stayed around for a long time on the surface for the divers to take photos, and this was all in front of Two Fish Divers resort. It was a great treat after the dives. Thanks to Bjorn Lohmer for this photo.
We want to say a special hello to an old friend. Ben from Switzerland (widely known as Swiss Ben!) has been visiting us for 3-4 weeks diving in Bunaken almost every year for the last 10years, and he is here again with his family for XMas. Hola Ben, Amandine, Kenno and Loyanne!!
On the diving side we have been seeing the usual, but this week we have seen more eagle rays and sea snakes. And we ran another TEC try-it, and five divers joined us to have fun in the silent world of rebreather diving.

Critter Corner – What is a Frogfish?
This week we had a Frogfish-tastic week in Lembeh with lots of different species: Hairy, Giant, Painted, Warty / Clown, all of varying colours and sizes. PLUS we found three Sargassum frogfish when cleaning our beach in front of the resort!
But what are these weird fish?
Travel Tips
If you have a few hours to kill in Singapore and want to see some sharks and mantas, then take a visit to the Singapore aquarium on Sentosa. Regardless of your conservation views, we really think it was worth it after we took a visit with our kids (aged 4 and 6) and had a great day out.
